The worlds of premium cigars and wine have many parallels, each considered among the most sophisticated delicacies for the discerning palate. While commonly enjoyed side by side, the two became one with the introduction of the Macanudo Flint Knoll, elevating the two components by aging portions of the Macanudo cigar's tobaccos in spent wine barrels from the Flint Knoll Winery.

Dubbed a resounding success by cigar and wine hobbyists alike, the project returns for its second release with the Macanudo Estate Reserve Flint Knoll Release No. 2. Like the original, the cigars feature a unique binder ingredient that has been aged in French oak wine barrels that formerly contained Flint Knoll's single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. This leaf is the famed Connecticut Broadleaf—a hearty tobacco that can withstand the added aging process due to its thick and oily tendencies, bringing out all-new complexities in the finished experience.

The Macanudo Estate Reserve Flint Knoll Release No. 2 features the same overall recipe, including a silky Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, barrel-aged Broadleaf binder, and diverse fillers from Brazil (Mata Fina), Nicaragua (Jalapa), and the DR (Piloto Cubano and Olor). Each release is differentiated in a similar fashion to wine vintages themselves, as unique barrels bring their own subtleties to the overall experience. With the Macanudo Estate Reserve Flint Knoll Release No. 2, the cigars are medium-bodied yet dense and creamy in texture, offering naturally sweet complexities of clean cedar, rich nuts, buttery oak, and underlying stone fruit sweetness.
