The La Flor Dominicana Reserva Especial line is back! When Litto Gomez first blended this line back in 1997 he set out to make a "Connecticut the La Flor way." Â And that he did with a filler/binder blend of Dominican tobaccos and a silky Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper leaf. Â It delivers a medium bodied smoke with an outstanding range of flavors.
The Reserva Especial line has been near and dear to us. Â Back in the mid-1990's when Litto was developing the blend he showed us the unique-shaped El Jocko he was planning on releasing. Â Our friend and former employee, Jocko Headblade, set out to convince Litto he needed to call this funny looking cigar the El Jocko. Â After much pleading Litto acquiesced and the rest is history. Â The La Flor Dominicana El Jocko was the best selling cigar for La Flor for years till they came out with their popular LFD DL-700 Maduro.
